💌 Hi… You’re probably thinking, who is this chick and why is she writing a book about herself? Honestly? Fair question. I’ve asked myself that question a million times. Why me? What makes me so special? So important? I’m not a celebrity or anything. I’m just… me. I’m Jendayi, the girl behind Being an Adult Sucks, a memoir about growing up, becoming an adult, and realizing that apparently becoming an adult does not solve everything. It’s funny. It’s sarcastic. It’s a little too honest sometimes cuz well… so am I. These are my stories, my thoughts, my bad decisions, and quite a few moments where I genuinely had to ask myself, “…what the hell am I doing?” I’m still asking myself that question. So yes, I wrote a whole book about myself. Is that selfish, conceited, egotistical? Maybe. Do I care? Ehh… not so much. Everything’s locked for now while I finish getting everything ready.
